Accu-Chek Softclix Lancets

Accu-Chek Softclix Lancets are designed to provide a virtually pain-free and accurate experience. Softclix lancets are 28 gauge and considerably smaller than most medical lancets. However, this makes them easy to use for all ages. With Accu-Chek Softclix lancets, anyone can easily and comfortably perform a blood glucose test.

As opposed to the standard round shaft lancets, Softclix lancets are designed with a rectangular cross-section to provide a smoother entry. They are lightweight and durable, suitable for all ages. They are designed for use with the Accu-Chek Softclix Lancing Device. The Accu-Chek Softclix lancing device has 11 customizable depth settings to match your needs.

Instructions

  • Ensure you have the Accu-Chek Softclix lancet.
  • Remove the cap from the lancing device.
  • Insert the lancet into the lancet holder that is located on the bottom of the lancing device. Push it into the device until it clicks.
  • Twist to remove the protective covering from the lancet. This will expose the needle.
  • Place the cap back onto the lancing device. Ensure that the notch matches up with the mark on the device.
  • Set the penetration depth. You can do this by turning the dial. This can be adjusted to match any skincare type.
  • Prime the lancing device by pressing the plunger all the way down. There is a release button on the side of the lancing device. This will indicate that the device is ready to use.
  • To release the lancet, you must press the release button.
  • The same lancet cannot be used more than once so be sure to replace the lancet every time.
  • Take off the cap and press down on the ejector. This will eject the used lancet. Replace the cap once the used lancet is disposed of.
